It Would be Rude Not to

Sometimes we don’t see the wood for the trees and something is happening right under our noses and we don’t realise.

One of our aims is to drive an increase in footfall in our town and in our businesses and we help to support festivals, events and markets.  We know these will attract people to Crieff.

Now. There is no guarantee they will then go on to visit our businesses. And there may be simple things you can do to encourage customer visits and spend:

  • Have business fliers at the event
  • Promotional banners at the event
  • Offer promotions
  • Take samples to the event
  • Use follow up offers
  • Offer discounts for future weeks

The list is endless.

We’ll keep you updated with forthcoming events that you can take advantage of, starting with the Science Fun Factory. This is a 2 day event, 25th and 26th of February, at Strathearn Community Campus and is part of the wider Strathearn Festival of Science – www.strathearnsciencefestival.org Last year, 1300 visitors came to the one day Science Fun Factory so more are expected this year.

We have fantastic shops offering superb products and service and our restaurants are second to none. We can get visitors to Crieff. Once here we need to get them in to the town and visit our businesses.
